High School students (and their fathers) from the intro to Engineering Class invested a recent Saturday partnering with the ministry Hearts in Hands to build a wheelchair ramp for a Birmingham area pastor.
Prior to construction, students completed a site visit to take measurements of the house and yard. Then, using the guidelines for the A.D. A. (Americans with Disability Act), designed several ramp options that met all the safety requirements.
Grateful to see our students applying their classroom experiences to be a blessing to others in Jesus' name.
