Briarwood Christian School, located in the suburbs of Birmingham, Alabama, was founded in 1964 as a ministry of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Briarwood Christian School is a coeducational, college preparatory school and provides a competitive curriculum.
K-12 enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is 1,722. High school (grades 9-12) enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is 579. Briarwood employs 62 teaching faculty with 70% holding a master’s degree or above.
The senior class of 2019 received scholarship offerings of  $11,513.210.00, accumulated over 10,000 service hours and had a 99% college placement rate.
