Briarwood Baseball finished as the 2019 5A State Runner-up. The team has 4 area championships in the previous five years and has advanced to the State playoffs each year. Briarwood baseball hosts games at one of the premier fields in the state of Alabama named in honor of former player, Jay D. Kynerd. Jay Kynerd’s life and testimony provides an excellent opportunity to model Christ, especially through his motto of, “Do the next right thing”.
