GAP Groups
"I love, learning and growing in my faith with my fellow classmates" Grace, 10th Grade
Every student in the Junior High and High School is placed in a small group (male or female) with 10-12 other students from their grade, and a faculty/staff leader. These groups are called G.A.P. groups, which stands for "Growth", "Accountability", and "Prayer". GAP groups meet every week for 20-25 minutes immediately following the weekly chapel. It is a time designed to help build community and provide a safe and encouraging context to discuss the chapel message, as well as foster meaningful connections and relationships among our students and faculty. Our deep hope at Briarwood Christian School is that each of our students, by the time they walk across the graduation stage, know the truths of the Gospel and have experienced an authentic expression of that Gospel: I am truly known by the Lord, and I am truly loved by Him.
